The news is constantly highlighting all of the ridiculous and ratchet events in the lives of many of our athletes. Now we need to take some time and give props to Lebron James in a major way. Bron Bron has teamed up with the University of Akron, and through his foundation, he plans to sponsor more than 1000 scholorships for kids seeking higher education.

Lebron says:

“I think its probably one of the best things I’ve ever been a part of, this is very special to me. As a kid growing up in teh innter city and as an African American kid, you dont really think past high school because it’ no possible or your family can’t support you. For us to be able to do something like this…it means so much.”

Kudos to this young man and his foundation!
