OK, trying to be quick so I’ll sum this up:

Angela Ye of “The Breakfast Club” hosted the Boosie Press Conference today. Lots of big names were there, Bun B stood up and thanked everyone for their support, then Jeezy also stood up and did the same. The lawyers got up and said whatever it was they had to say and Angela then invited Webbie up to the front to speak. Of course if you’ve ever heard Webbie speak, then you already know. But Webbie was cool, he just got up basically and thanked God Boosie was home. Boosie’s mom got up, she was quick and to the point (unlike Webbie) and thanked everyone that supported her son.

Finally Boosie, dressed in an all white Gucci Outfit, sparkling in a big ass diamond bracelet, watch, chain and shades finally made his first official appearance, looking quite fresh and clean. He said the first thing he did, even when he was warned by everyone including his mother, was go to Baton Rouge and pick up all seven of his children, brought them back to the hotel so that they could play all night.

Boosie was pretty laid back and appeared to be extremely humbled by the amount of attention he was getting. He was also pretty funny, he stated social media and technology had changed a lot since he’s been away. He was shocked at the fact that he could look at someone while talking to them over the phone. He was also shocked at Instagram and being able to read everyone’s comments.

In pure “Breakfast Club” fashion, Angela Ye asked him if he was able to get conjugal visits while in prison and he laughs and said, “No!”, then he went on to say that he had plenty of conjugal visits with himself.

Boosie said when he was locked up —get this— he was really into reading MAGAZINES (shout out to all the Mags out there), he didn’t really listen to any music, he was just focused on his own music and he wrote 1018 songs while in prison. He said if he found out about a new artist, it was through reading about them in a magazine, but not from their music. Boosie said he also wrote a book and a movie while he was locked up. He said it was hard being incarcerated and he has lots of stories to tell. The prison at one point even had him on 23 hour and 45 minute lockdown every day, and only let him out for 15 minutes to use the phone. He said he managed to stay very busy and when he didn’t have anything to do, he was “mastermind his own hustle”.

Boosie stated that the song that he released with Webbie that everyone is hearing now was a song they did prior to him being incarcerated. As far as music he stated he is also looking forward some day in the future to doing an album with C Murder.

Since his release, he’s been in the studio almost every night and has been spending his free time in the studio or with his kids and family.

He personally thanked these people: Jeezy and Atlantic for pushing him continuously, Plies for staying in contact with him and Webbie for taking his son fishing and that he had never taken his own son fishing. He said but first and foremost he wanted to thank God. He mentioned a number of groups including the NAACP for supporting him as well.

Boosie also stated he does not control his Facebook or Twitter…so yall can stop trying to DM or inbox this dude..ok

They asked him, name anyone he would like to work with and Boosie said Justin Bieber, and how he hoped he was watching the press conference. Someone in the audience yelled out they would get the two in touch since they’ve never met.

Regarding traveling and touring, Boosie said he is not clear to travel until the last week of March, he stated that he has a nice P.O. that he really likes. Anyone who is interested in booking him needs to get in touch with his brother TQ and any official concert information would be updated via his website www.boosiespeaks.com

Whew!
