Balance Beams, High Low Bars , Vaults and more importantly the Floor Exercises! Gymnastics is a sport we all have grown to love over the years especially since the Olympic days of Dominque Dawns. And who can forget Gabby Douglas, the young Virginian underdog and the first African American gymnast to win Gold in the Olympic All-Around competition. But wait there is a new face on the up rise and she’s giving a twist to the sport.

UCLA’s new star Sophina Dejesus , the gymnast who’s video went viral! Added some flavor to her floor exercise routine last Saturday by sticking to her culture and a little help from her sister. The star would “Whip, Nae Nae” , “Hit the Quan” in between tumbles and flips all over that mat! And to top it off she “Dabbed’d on em”!. What a great way to show her creativity in such a great sport!.

Her outstanding performance in competition made news on Saturday as her video got the complete attention of Facebook , I can honestly say if you have yet to see this video then you are in for a treat!

Sophina nailed every tumble, flip, split and her LANDINGS! Were amazing, she had the judges totally shocked as it was the first time they had seen the routine but it was the audience that would join in with her throughout the performance!

The senior said this: “I love dancing,” DeJesus said of her decision to try the unorthodox routine. “I wanted to end my senior year with a bang.”

She added: “My sister Savannah is an awesome dancer. She helped me with the choreo and made it more fun.”

And fun she did have and a bang she did deliver and would you believe that this is far from her best event? She’s ACTually an All-around gymnast and the floor exercise was her first one of the season. WOW!..

Oh and she scored PERFECTLY! Winning the competition for UCLA!

I’m excited to see more from her and I’m sure you will to ! so peep that video!

In Today’s “C’mon Son” news, Clemson coach Dabo Swinney sent three players packing for violating team rules, aka failing a drug test. The players are kicker Ammon Lakip, tight end Jay Jay McCullough and the triple threat, receiver Deon Cain. The suspension comes a day before Clemson is scheduled to play in the Capital One Orange Bowl against the OK Sooners, or the title game if the Tigers advance.

Coach Swinney stated in a press conference today:

“You don’t do the right things, there’s consequences, It’s really that simple. It’s not a complicated matter at all. We’ve got 115 guys and 112 did what’s right and three of them didn’t. They forfeit the opportunity and privilege to be a part of the game. Really hate it for them. They’re the ones that have to deal with the consequences because they’re missing out on a great opportunity.”

C’MON SON!! Clemson is having a great year, and these kids are willing to risk a potential career of playing professional football for some bad weed or molly! Hope these guys learn their lesson and let’s hope they smarten up for next season – if they get a chance.

Another sad day for the Gamecocks, besides all of the games we have been losing this season, we learned today that our coach, the most successful coach in USC History, stepped down today! Yes that’s right, we may be having a slightly bad season so far, but remember Coach Spurrier came to the University of South Carolina (who never exactly had a winning reputation in football) and completely turned this program around!

Before Spurrier, the Gamecocks had never won more than 10 games in one season; in 2014 USC was ranked number 4 nationally, the highest ever ranking for the Gamecock football program.

Spurrier, at 70 years old, is currently on track to experience his worse start in conference football since 2003 when the Gamecocks experienced a losing season under Lou Holtz.

Today, Spurrier stated that it is time to move on. He explained, “If it starts going south, going bad, then I need to get out, You can’t keep a head coach who’s been at it as long as I have if it’s going in the wrong direction.”

Check out the rest of Spurrier’s speech! We will miss you coach!
