Cricket Cares Capital Grant Contest

Does your small business need a grant? Cricket Wireless is kicking off Black History Month with its launch of the Small Business Capital Grant Contest in 15 cities. The program is the Cricket Cares Capital Grant Contest, and Cricket Wireless is providing an opportunity for entrepreneurs to apply and win one of three major cash prizes. The sole purpose of each prize is for the winner to invest and grow their small business.

George Cleveland, Vice President of Channel Operations, explained why they have launched this initiative:

“Small businesses are the heart & soul of many communities across the country, providing goods, services and jobs that positively impact customers where they live, work and play. With the launch of our Cricket Cares Capital Grant contest, we hope to help three entrepreneurs grow their business and alleviate some of the challenges they face when applying for funding.”

The contest is available to residents in 13 major cities: Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, New Orleans, Memphis, Miami, New York, St. Louis, and Washington, D.C.

The prizes include:

• 1^stPlace: $25,000, Free Nokia 3.1 Plus smartphone with 1 year of Cricket Wireless service
• 2^ndPlace: $10,000, Free Nokia 3.1 Plus smartphone with six months of Cricket Wireless service
• 3^rdPlace: $5,000, Free Nokia 3.1 Plus smartphone with three months of Cricket Wireless service
