PayPal Co-Founder Pledges $1.25 Million to Donald Trump; Now Trending #BoycottPaypal

He is the son of immigrant parents who moved here when he was a child, he is an avowed libertarian, he is a billionaire venture capitalist, and he is the co-founder of one of the most relevant tech-sites in existance today. His name is Peter Theil and he may have just made one his most riskiest investments yet – he’s pledged $1.25 million to the Trump campaign for President.

To be a tech genius and a supporter of Trump is both dangerous and awkward. Major tech companies have already done the work to distance themselves from Donald Trump due to his position on minorities, immigration, women, and free speech and many tech companies believe Trump is harmful to the industry due to some of his beliefs. Peter Theil is currently a contributor to Y Combinator, who’s founder is outspoken about being anti-trump. Theil is also on the board of Facebook, where its founder Mark Zuckerberg has also publicly criticized Trump.
