We are entering an amazing time in music where more artists are rising to speak up about issues within their own communities and throughout the world. With music like Lemonade, YG and NIpsey’s “Fuck Donald Trump” and even many of your underground hip-hop – artists are beginning to put messages back into music. It’s amazing to see the route that hip-hop can take. Artists are no longer afraid of not fitting in; they’re diving into their own oceans fishing for a new message, a new vision, and a new way to look at art and creativity.
