New Music – Ms. Classy Ratchet – Lexa L’Terra – “Like Me”
Fresh from the Syllabus Magazine inbox, we were hit with this exclusive track from an artist, that’s known to some, and seems to be on her way to making her mark here in the Carolinas! Lexa L’Terra is her name, and word on the street is that she’s the “dopest female emcee emerging out of Charleston”…sounds like a challenge if ya ask me…#instigating
Anywho, she’s backing up that claim with a new release titled, “Like Me”, produced by Francis Cooper. Nowadays, anytime music hits your inbox, there’s always some slight hesitation because in this age of desktop computerized synthetic beats…you never know what you’re going to get, but this time tho…we have to admit we were pleasantly surprised. We weren’t just impressed lyrically, but her bio reads that she’s a graduate of West Ashley High, an honor student, Varsity cheerleader, Freshman at USC (upstate)….and she got bars?!?!
Lexa L’Terra, the self proclaimed “classy ratchet” rapper reps the Chuck in her new release “Like Me”:
Came up on the West Side
Where they do it Big and I aint talking Bed Stuy
I aint even got started, this a test drive
I tear it up…burn it down…Selecta
Ok Miss Classy Ratchet, we see you. Listen, go ahead, download the single, hit her up on YouTube and judge for yourself. She gets the Syllabus Magazine Seal of approval and we look forward to hearing more in 2014 when the “Classy Ratchet” EP is released……hmmmm….wonder if we can get her to change that to “Sophistiratchet” – you all know that’s one of our favorite 2014 terms! Anywho – Get to downloading and congrats and good luck to Lexa L’Terra! Good Look!
