Since its inception in 2008, The South Carolina Music Awards has grown rapidly in popularity; attracting music connoisseurs from all over the country. The dynamic creative partnership of Co-Producers, Marcus and Shera Bass -Housey; created the awards as a way to focus on “the best and brightest” of South Carolina talent. This unique event also fits in well with our marketing objectives and advertising slogan, South Carolina Premier Award Show. The South Carolina Music Awards is produced by and was created out of the growing popularity of Carolina’s music. The SCMA’s strive to honor A-list talents who are setting the trends and paving the way for the latest generation.
